Friends and Family,

My kids Dad, Asala, lost everything in the Camp Fire near Chico, CA.  He left for work in the morning and never was able to go home again. I saw him get word that it was all gone and it was heart breaking.  He’s been working so hard to create a home for him and the girls. So I do this for him but also for our girls. 

He is a man who works really hard to make ends meet and lives paycheck to paycheck and had no renters insurance!

Although tonight he feels defeated I know he will rebuild.  I reminded him him how much the girls need him and how grateful we are he is alive.

As most of you know Im in Sacramento and I have offered for him to stay with us for a bit. The money raised will be used to purchase everything he may need in a day to day basis. Including clothes, gas, glasses, eventually household goods etc.

Update: My heart is full this morning seeing your generousity and sharing. When I started this I didn’t know what goal to ask for and didn’t want to appear greedy. I’m shooting for the moon for my family and have updated the goal. Thank you. ❤️
