I am reaching out to ask for your support for Asad Farooq, the younger brother of one of my childhood friends, who is currently battling Stage IV colorectal cancer.

Over the past 10 months, Asad has undergone extensive testing, hospital visits, and 12 cycles of chemotherapy. Despite his incredible courage, recent scans show that the cancer remains present in his liver, backbone, and large intestine, and further treatment is urgently needed.

I have known this family for many years and have been helping where I can. However, the financial burden of ongoing cancer treatment is far beyond what one person can carry alone.

We are aiming to raise AUD $8,000 (approximately PKR 1.5 million) to help cover:

• Further chemotherapy treatments

• CT scans, bone scans, and medical testing

• Essential medications and supportive care

• Travel and treatment-related expenses

• Future treatment needs to reduce the burden of repeated fundraising

No donation is too small. Even $5, $10, or $20 can make a real difference when many people come together.

For complete transparency, I will be sharing medical reports, treatment records, bills, and photos. Any funds remaining after Asad's treatment needs are met will be donated to other cancer patients in need.
