Help Ms. Feng's Funeral

My name is Kevin Ying, one of the Board Members of Atlanta Chinese American Alliance (ACAA). Our organization was reached by Ms. Daoyou Feng's brother, Daokun Feng, to assist the family in handlining Ms. Feng's funeral and other related issues. Ms. Feng was born on January 11, 1977 in Guangdong China. In 1999, she came to the US to seek a better life. She was never married and had no children. On March 16, 2021, she was killed while she was working at the Young's Asian Massage. Her parents are old and in bad health condition in China. Her brother, Daokun Feng, is in China and is not able to come to US due to COVID-19 pandemic. We have made arrangement with Lee's Funeral Home. A memorial service and burrier will occur for Ms. Feng on this Sunday, April 4th. So far, the total cost is about $6,000. There is also a need for hiring an attorney to handle Ms. Feng's personal assets. Our goal is to send her assets to her parents in China.
We are sure that at age 44, Ms. Feng had a dream and plan for her life. But everything ended tragically on that day when the shooter toke her life. She left this world alone with no family around. Please help us to give her an honorable memorial service and burrier.
The death of Ms. Feng, along with other victims, has awaken the whole country. Thousands of people have come out to condemn the crime and racial hatred. We believe that by standing together, we can fight back such crime and prevent the tragedy from happening again in the future.
Atlanta Chinese American Alliance (ACAA) is a voluntary community organization to assist local Chinse who are in need. All our members are volunteers. The funds we raise are 100% used for supporting people. For this fundraising, the money received will be used for: funeral, cemetery lot purchase, memorial service, and hiring an attorney to handle Ms. Feng's assets. If there is money left, it will be sent to Ms. Feng's parents in China.
We appreciate Liren (里仁）Foundation, a non-profit organization, to serve as a recipient for all the donations. Money will be withdrawn from Liren's bank account to pay all related expenses.
