My daughter, Aryana, has always dreamed of becoming a nurse, and she has worked incredibly hard to pursue this calling. As her mother, I have watched her face every challenge with determination and hope. Recently, Aryana has been struggling with vision problems caused by macular degenerative disease, which make it difficult for her to keep up with her classes, clinical training, and even everyday tasks. As a mother suffering from the same disease, I wanted to help her remove any obstacle on her way and prevent anything from stopping her from reaching her goal. Despite these obstacles, she continues to push forward, never losing sight of her goal to help others.

After consulting with her doctor, we learned that Aryana needs three specialized binocular/bioptic medical glasses. These glasses are essential for her to continue her education and succeed in her chosen field. Unfortunately, they are highly specialized and not covered by insurance. The cost is more than I can afford as a single parent, but I am determined to do everything I can to support Aryana’s dream.
