Hello,

As you all know, my best friend is my dog, Arya. She’s been fighting off an infection for months, and her new vet is still trying to figure out what is wrong. This means Arya must undergo more tests, be put on more types of medications, and continue regular checkup visits until her infection clears up. I’m crying right now because I am embarrassed that I need help, but I can’t risk things getting worse and possibly losing my best friend. I love her more than life itself, and anything helps. Prayers are appreciated as well. I know health problems are expected as a dog starts to get older, but she’s only 6 years old. I don’t want her to have to undergo any surgeries if I can’t afford to get her the proper treatment on time. I feel like I have failed her by needing to ask for help, and I just don’t know what else I can do.
