Hi, I'm Arwen. I've lived in Southern California for a decade now. I am currently in a living situation where I am being harassed by my landlord, and I have been given until the end of October to move out. While there are ton of illegalities to what he's doing, I am in a bad place mentally (arguably the worst I have ever been in my life) and I have chosen to move back in with my mom.

That requires a cross-country trip to NY.

I have received quotes for moving containers and I'm currently looking at a minimum of about $4,500. PODS quoted me $4,724. UHAUL is cheaper but neither my mom nor I are comfortable driving a truck, and my car can't handle a trailer. I'll also need gas money, hotel money, etc.

I have been unemployed since the pandemic hit in 2020 and thus I have no savings to put towards my move. Any and all help is appreciated.
