Arun Kumar is a good friend of mine and always looked after me during the few years I lived in India. He is a husband and a new father to 3 month old baby boy.

On Saturday, April 17th in Bengaluru, India, Arun Kumar was attacked by 11 men while he and his wife were traveling across town. Arun was shoved to the ground by the men, who then proceeded to attack him with a machete. He sustained life-threatening lacerations to his arms, legs, hands, lung and back. The force of the machete caused multiple fractures in his legs and arms, as well as severing the tendons in his right hand. If Arun's wife hadn't cried for help, he and possibly his wife, would've died.

Arun has been in the ICU since the attack and is in desperate need of financial support so he can receive the surgeries he'll need to further fix the damage to his legs, arms, hands, nose and back. He has already received some vascular surgery to stabilize him and had the bones in his right leg set. All of the funds Arun will receive will go towards him getting the other surgeries he desperately needs, as well as covering his hospital bills. 

Please help my friend Arun, he urgently needs financial aid so he can receive the surgeries he needs as well as to cover his hospital bills. Any amount of money helps!
