Hey everyone,

my name is Artyom, a 26 year old non-binary student from Tajikistan, living in Berlin since 2017. The last months have been difficult for me, especially after the Berlin budget cuts which led to my layoff from my previous job in social work. Given that I am not an EU citizen, I have no access to state support such as unemployment or other social benefits. Simultaneously I had to leave my flat due to personal conflict, while I am also struggling with mental illness.

I need to get back on my feet, and this is why I need your help. Right now, the most immediate costs I have to cover are my health insurance as well as Uni semester fee – I study Anthropology & Greek Lit at the FU Berlin. You can see the detailed list of my costs below.

Paying for my health insurance is especially important right now, since this is my only access point to medication and therapy, and also because I will lose my insurance if not paid promptly.
