Arturo is a husband, father of 3, and grandfather of 1. Arturo has lived on his own in Minnesota for ten years now, while his family continues life in Mexico. For a decade, he had worked 60-80 hours a week in restaurants, washing dishes and doing maintenance. Arturo lives a very frugal and humble life, with almost all his earnings going to support his children, grandchild, and wife, who in recent years suffered a traumatic brain injury. This injury has rendered her unable to work, and leaves their oldest children as her primary care takers.

Arturo is a JOY to so many of us. He is everyone's favorite coworker and brings endless hard work, positivity, and love with him to work every single day. If you know him personally, you know exactly what I mean. With the recent climate, Arturo has barely been able to work, sometimes going 3-4 weeks without a single shift, out of fear of what could happen to him and what that would mean for his family's wellbeing. I am looking to raise $1,000 to help him cover his February expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, etc.) The Twin Cities community has stepped up in unimaginable ways in the last few months, and I ask you once again to show up for one of your neighbors.
