My name is Letty Galvez (Soto). Those who know me or us, know that we have been battling cancer for about 5 years, more aggressively this year to the point where Art is now in hospice. We don't know how long he has but he is deteriorating quickly and painfully.

Art has been fighting stage 4 prostate cancer which has metastasize to the bones and lymph nodes. We've done chemo-therapy, radiations, and other treatments with no avail. Treatments are no longer an option as they are not effective anymore. We are now trying to stay focused on keeping him comfortable, surrounded by love and his family. Unfortunately, the financial burden of medical expenses, hospice care, care givers, and upcoming funeral arrangements have become overwhelming.

Art has always been the first one to step up to help others, especially for my mom when she unfortunately became ill. He was there til the end, her main care giver. Now we are asking for your support and help to give back to this person who gave unconditionally.

We are aiming to raise $12,000 to help cover:

*On-going medical and hospice care costs

*Funeral and memorial service expenses so we can honor his life with the dignity he deserves.
