Help Artist Deyfing Borders Lay Her Mother to Rest

Dear community--
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share that our beloved Maria and Lily have lost their mother in Mexico. Those of you who may know their story know that their mother defied borders surviving China, Mexico, and the US.
Maria has dedicated the past 3 years of their life fighting for the liberation of all people, including survivors of violence, and South East Asian communities from deportation. Maria has fought for the liberation of all people in the name of their mother, who was deported from the United States over 6 years ago. Maria's entire family has searched for liberation as refugees across the borders of China, Mexico, Colombia, and the US, which makes this tragic loss heavier. This means Maria and Lily's family is faced with travel limitaton due to global borders and unjust immigration policies that are not allowing their family to say goodbye.
There aren't enough words to describe Maria's love and passion for their community. They use their art to bring resiliency to life, transforming pain into beautiful art and inspiring people to believe in a world without borders.
Maria and Lily will need their entire community to overcome this pain and transformation process.
Any amount will go a long way.
