Hello,

My name is Darryl DeAngelo Terrell, a Photographer, Artist, Writer, and DJ. In April, I took my desktop computer to Mac to get it serviced and was informed that my computer was beyond repair, which hurt me a great deal as I was at the finishing stages of some soundscape work, and at the beginning stage of working on some new video/film work that I strongly feel will propel my practice to new heights (More about the project in 2025). My computer's motherboard completely crashed and to repair it would cost me more than it would just to buy a new computer.

As if that wasn't enough, during the early month of June, my digital camera which I have used since finishing my MFA in 2017 has started to show signs that it was on its last leg as it could barely hold a battery charge (it was already used when I bought it, so this isn't much of a surprise). As most of you know reading this, I need both of these items to keep working as an artist as I am preparing for a few museum group shows, and a solo show in 2025.

With this GoFundMe, I am hoping to upgrade my Camera, to a Canon ARIII, as well as replace my Computer, so that I can get back to making images, along with other forms of making.
