UPDATE 2/17/25: Thank you for your support. I successfully completed radiation. Now I will be continuing hormone therapy.

UPDATE: Hello everyone thank you for your donations so far. I had the pleasure of ringing the bell at the end of October 2024 signifying the end of my chemotherapy. I had surgery in December 2024 and was set to begin radiation and meet with some of my oncology team on the 8th of January 2025. Due to the CA wildfires, my appointments were cancelled. Thankfully where I live is safe. We got an evacuation warning but it was later dismissed, however the hospital I am getting outpatient treatment at, evacuated. I also am restricted due to the air quality. I am concerned about any further delays in my treatment and have decided to put my efforts toward eventually moving and fixing or replacing my car which is over 20 years old and has engine issues. If you can find it in your heart to please donate and or share the link. No amount is too small.

OP: I am a mom of 2, a passionate artist and crafter. I have faced many challenges in life but felt like I was on the road to healing. In recent years, I embraced a healthy lifestyle and felt like I was in the best shape of my life. I was working to build a better life for my children and myself, but a lifetime of heartbreak and neglect finally caught up with me. In late February 2024, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35. I experienced months of delays leading up to and after my diagnosis, which added to the trauma. I advocated for myself and was able to get into a great facility. Initially, my treatment plan was to get surgery and radiation, but after my surgery, I was told I would also need chemotherapy. I am in treatment and have a great team. It has been an emotional rollercoaster and a financial nightmare, but I have found peace and strength in my faith. I am truly grateful for the prayers and love I have received during this time. I am looking forward to life after treatment. Your gift will help me rebuild, after what has been one of the darkest periods in my life. My main goals are to visit Ghana to spend time with family after chemo, get more reliable transportation, and cover some expenses not covered by my insurance. I appreciate anything you can offer.
