Help Artie Rob Recover From A Stroke

Hi my name is Francine Robinson, recently my brother Comedian Artie Rob was on the way home from a comedy show and wasn't feeling well, he was involved in a minor car accident on the way home. What he didn't realize was that he was having a stroke. He continued home, it wasn't until the next morning that he was brought to the hospital by a friend. What we learned at the hospital was that Artie had a progressive stroke which is a progressive or gradual worsening of neurological function after the onset of a stroke that persists over several hours until more severe neurological deficits appear.

 

Artie spent ten days in the hospital, six of those days were in the ICU. His speech and the entire right side of his body have been affected. He was transferred, to a rehab and is expected to make a 90% recovery. But the road ahead is long, he has 6-12 months if extensive rehabilitation ahead of him.

 

Artie is a stand up comedian, he loves making people laugh and people love him for it, but he cannot work anytime in the immediate future as he focuses on his recovery. Stand up comedy comes with a lot of perks but health insurance and benefits are not on the list. I am here hat in hand asking you all for help so that we can raise $10,000 to assist with living and medical expenses over the next 6 months. We don't know what the future holds at the moment but we do not that Artie is a fighter.
