Help My Dad, a Retired Firefighter, Get the Rehab He Deserves

Hi, my name is Artieka, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my father, Artie.

My dad is a retired firefighter who dedicated his life to helping others. Now, he needs help himself.

A few months ago, he took a hard fall that required a lengthy stay in rehab. He worked hard to recover, but just recently, he fell again—this time breaking his hip. On top of that, my dad is also battling Parkinson’s disease, which makes every step toward recovery even more challenging.

Because he had already used his rehab benefits from his first fall, his insurance will not cover the care he now urgently needs. Without proper rehab, his chances of regaining mobility and independence are seriously at risk.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

A stay in a rehabilitation facility

Medical equipment and physical therapy

Transportation and related medical costs not covered by insurance

My dad has always been a strong, proud man—the kind of person who ran toward danger to help others. Now we’re hoping that others can step in to support him in his time of need.
