Hello everyone,

My name is Bill Whittaker, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Arthur Dollar. Arthur is a 25 year-old man with a heart of gold and a lifelong dream in the trucking industry—a dream passed down to him by his late uncle, David Wright.

Arthur’s uncle, David, was more than just family—he was a mentor, a father figure, and a best friend. David owned and operated a trucking company for 25 years and took Arthur under his wing from the time he was just 13 years old. They spent countless hours on the road together, and it was through these experiences that Arthur fell in love with the business. When David tragically passed away from cardiac arrest last year, he left the company to Arthur, trusting him to carry on the legacy.

Arthur was determined to honor his uncle’s memory and keep the business alive. But life has dealt him a series of heartbreaking and costly setbacks.

In February 2025, the truck his uncle left him developed an exhaust leak. Unaware of the danger, Arthur suffered carbon monoxide poisoning while driving and lost consciousness. The truck and trailer were totaled in the incident. Miraculously, Arthur survived—but the financial and emotional toll was devastating.

Determined to get back on the road, Arthur pulled together everything he could to buy another truck and trailer. Unfortunately, that truck recently blew its motor. Now, Arthur is left with no income, mounting repair costs, and daily living expenses that are quickly piling up.

We are asking for your help to raise $35,000 to cover:

• Rebuilding the truck’s engine

• Towing costs

• Temporary living expenses while Arthur is unable to work
