My name is Arthur, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my family during one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced. I’m on dialysis, and when my port broke, it caused an infection that left me in the hospital for 3 months. During that time, my wife was the only one able to work while also taking care of me and our kids. We fell behind on bills, and that led to us being evicted. Right now, we are living in a hotel and trying to hold everything together while I continue getting the treatment I need to stay alive.

I have to drive an hour to dialysis three times a week, and the cost of gas adds up fast. I can’t work right now, and I was not approved for disability, so we have been stretched beyond what we can manage. The support from this fundraiser will go toward gas for my dialysis trips and help us work toward finding a new place to stay. I truly don’t like asking for help, but I’m in dire need of assistance.
