I’m raising funds to help cover vet treatment for my cat, Artemis, who’s suffered a serious head injury and now needs ongoing veterinary care.

Artemis isn’t just a cat. She’s the real princess in my castle (along with Camina who shows up regularly on my stream). I’m just the one lucky enough to care for her.

She’s been by my side through some of the hardest years of my life, offering cuddles, chaos, and a running commentary on everything I do. She’s a proper chatterbox, always meowing her opinions, and she spends her days snoozing on her favourite blanket or demanding snacks (especially Dreamies, her one true love).

Last night, she came home badly hurt and disoriented. I rushed her to the emergency vet, where she was treated for a severe head injury with fluids, antibiotics and pain relief. She was stable enough to spend last night at home curled up next to me, but she’s now back at the vet for further treatment and monitoring.

We still don’t know what caused the injury. It’s heartbreaking to see her like this but she’s fighting. And I’m doing everything I can to fight alongside her.

So far, I’ve paid over £700 in vet bills, and there’s more ahead follow-up appointments, fluids, medication and check-ups. I want to give her the best chance to recover and get back to her usual self: chirping, napping, and ruling the flat like the fluffy little queen she is.
