Artemis is my sweet, charismatic cat who is just a year and a half old. She’s always been full of life, bringing so much joy to my home with her playful spirit and loving nature. Yesterday, I came home from work and found her arm hanging at her side. After rushing her to the vet, I learned that she had broken her arm above the elbow. Because of where the break is, a simple splint won’t work—she needs corrective surgery to set the bone and insert a plate and screws.

The vet told me that if I can’t afford the surgery, euthanasia would be the only other option. The thought of losing Artemis over a broken arm is heartbreaking. She still has so much life left in her, and I want nothing more than to see her running, playing with her siblings, and climbing her post to eat again. This surgery is her best chance to get back to the happy, active life she deserves.
