We are thrilled to announce that Artem Novoselov has officially been selected to represent Team USA in 2v2 Beach Volleyball at the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan!

This incredible event takes place November 15–24, 2025, and with your support, we can help make his dream a reality.

About Artem:

From a young age, Artem showed an extraordinary natural talent for sports and strategy. At just 12 years old, while playing at a local middle school, a high school coach spotted him effortlessly making perfect volleyball passes — and from that moment, Artem’s journey in volleyball took flight.

Artem went on to play varsity volleyball throughout all four years of high school. When the pandemic disrupted traditional play, he didn’t pause — he pivoted. Embracing the challenge, he discovered a new love for beach volleyball. Training daily on grass and sand under 2v2 rules, Artem’s dedication transformed volleyball from a hobby into a lifestyle.

Today, Artem is a beloved part of the volleyball community across New Jersey and New York City — showing up with energy and heart from Long Branch to Highline Arena, NJIT, and Central Park. Whether on the court or the sidelines, Artem is known for his infectious energy, relentless positivity, and unmatched passion. He lifts up every teammate, cheers for every competitor, and inspires everyone around him to fall in love with the game.

Artem’s creativity, hustle, and deep love for the sport make him the perfect ambassador for Team USA. Now, we have the chance to help him take the next step — to represent our country on the world stage.

Why Your Support Matters:

Unlike the USA Olympic and Paralympic teams, the Deaflympics doesn’t receive major institutional funding, which means athletes like Artem need to raise their own support to get to the global stage. We’re raising funds to help cover, travel, lodging, entry fees, equipment, and trainings.

The Deaflympics began in 1924 (before the Paralympics started in the 1960s) as the “International Silent Games” in Paris. It was the first-ever international sporting event for athletes with a disability. It’s a movement built on inclusion, resilience, and fierce athleticism, and Artem is honored to carry that legacy forward.
