Art’s Road to Recovery

Hi family and friends!

As you may have heard my Uncle Art De La Rosa has been hospitalized for the last week following a major brain surgery called a Craniotomy. He was diagnosed with a severe subdural hematoma. The cause is still unknown and doctors believe that it could have been trauma related. He is still in the beginning stages of his recovery and is taking it day by day. It is unknown if he will be back to his normal self or if this will be a lifelong battle.

Art has been a devoted husband, father, member of our Banning community and member of the Southwest Carpenters Union Local 951. As you can imagine, my aunt and cousin’s entire household has been turned upside down. As of now, he will be out of work indefinitely while he is recovering and it is unknown if he will ever get back to doing the work he has been doing for the last 25 years.
