Unfortunately my dear father Arthur Stroud developed Congestive Heart Failure around 2015-16. As the years progressed, he was put on the heart transplant list, but the condition of his health has declined since then. Sadly we received news that he is no longer eligible for the heart transplant based off of his health insurance. He now has a blood pumping device on the left side of heart with meds supporting the right side. As of now, Art’s heart is too weak for him to breathe and function on it’s own, so he is connected to a ventilator with a breathing tube to help his body rest and be able to function with this new device called the Impella. This sudden illness and sudden change of plans for his well being was a utter shock to all of us. We the Stroud family ask you to donate anything you can to help us get him back to health. This is a very, very expensive and extensive surgery. But with the Lord’s Prayer and guidance, we know he will place his hands on Art and bring him back to better health.
