Help Art Sidone Get Life-Saving Stem Cell Transplant due to

In July of this year, Art was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS - blood cancer). A rare complication of MDS is a serious lung disease known as Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis (PAP). It's been 6 months of ups and downs. The only cure for Art's MDS is Stem Cell Transplant.

Under the care of his amazing team of oncologists, hematologists, and pulmonologists, the treatment plan continues to evolve with a focus on controlling the cancer and treating Art's lung disease, so he is strong enough to receive a life-saving stem cell transplant.

The funds raised will be used to first and foremost help cover Art's medical expenses not covered by insurance, on-going treatments, lifelong medications, and daily expenses while Art is unable to work. Jan 2025, Art has a new oncologist, who specializes in MDS. We’re hopeful that this will allow Art’s lungs to get to where they need to be so that he is stronger.
