Help Art and Tina Rebuild and Recover

My parents, Art and Tina McLean are going through a difficult time. Tina is in treatment for breast cancer and Art is dealing with ongoing complications from his prostate cancer treatment which began in 2006. Neither are able to work right now because of their health conditions. To make matters more complicated, their house recently caught fire - it was contained to one room, their bedroom, but they are currently displaced and waiting for reconstruction on their property to begin. Their insurance company is barely covering reconstruction and furniture replacement.

Friends, my folks are awesome, hardworking, proud people. But they need our help. I'm hoping to raise $5000 to cover the costs of putting their bedroom back together, but if we can muster more than that, it will go toward needs they'll have in the upcoming months like physical therapy for my mom after she gets her mastectomy in October - her job is quite physical and I know from experience how valuable physical therapy is in rehabilitating your body after any surgery but particularly that one. I also know that insurance rarely covers it. Also, things like getting groceries can be a burden when you're recovering from surgery or burnt out from medication. Anything extra will go towards making their lives a little easier in the midst of this stressful time.

Listen, this could be worse. They have a roof over their heads. They have food to eat. They have people who love them. But also, this whole situation super sucks.
