Dogs have a way of touching our lives that is truly irreplaceable. Their loyalty, love, and ability to bring comfort in our darkest moments makes them uniquely special. From the moment I met Arrow I knew he was my soul dog, the one you get only once in your lifetime, and he became my biggest source of hope and happiness. Arrow is my 8-month-old Staffordshire Terrier, and he’s the light of my life. I rescued him from an at-risk community, and since then, he’s filled my days with joy, laughter, and that signature pitty smile. Even when things get tough, his presence reminds me every day that as long as he’s around, there’s goodness in the world. Being a dog mommy to him is what keeps me going each day, and makes me proud to be here. We’ve faced relocation, starting college, and so many challenges by each other's side, please don’t let this be the last one.

Right now, Arrow is facing the biggest challenge of his young life. He’s been vomiting blood, and after rushing him to Vet Emergency Group for Pets in Fort Lauderdale, I learned there’s a substance in his stomach pressing against his intestines, and it has even sliced his belly open. He needs emergency surgery to remove it, and he can’t pass it on his own. After surgery, he’ll also need medication to help his ulcerated stomach heal and get him back to his crazy self. Arrow means everything to me, and seeing him suffer has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced.
