Arnaldo Arencibia was very happy because his first grandson was going to be born very soon, he had already planned the trip, bought the air tickets and was just waiting for the departure date from Miami to Cyprus to meet the new family member, counting the days to undertake the trip that made him so happy, unfortunately fate has played a trick on him ... On August 15, he observed that he had an inflammation in the lower part of the jaw, so he went to the doctor for an examination, after the appointment he was recommended a surgery. On August 26, surgery was performed to remove the small lump that had formed on the right side under the jaw, once the intervention was performed, a biopsy was taken of the extracted mass and on August 29 it was determined that it was a form of cutaneous lymphoma. After that his health has been declining day by day and as a result, he received a blood transfusion and hematological exams, on September 19 he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Chemotherapy started on September 20 and he is currently hospitalized with delicate health. He needs blood transfusions almost daily, in addition to chemotherapy, he is currently in the first period of treatment and the doctor has determined that he will need at least 3 cycles in the coming months. Doctors have told us that the treatment will be long and expensive, which is why we are starting this fundraising campaign to be able to pay for part of the treatment and thus alleviate a little the burden of our family, which is not only economic but emotional, we would like to have all the possible help from our friends, family and the community in general, any amount of prayers and / or monetary help will be very helpful. Let's help Arnaldo together, so he can recover fast and be able to meet his beautiful grandson, who was born on September 13.
