A few years ago now, Armando, who has always been a healthy and hardworking individual, started to not feel well and was having some alarming symptoms. After many doctor visits and tests, they revealed he was having problems with his kidneys. With both of his kidneys not functioning properly, he needed to start dialysis treatments right away. After more time and testing, they found out that his kidneys were in very bad shape and ultimately he would need to get a kidney transplant.
He has been going through dialysis treatments multiple times a week for the last few years while going through the process of being able to get put onto the transplant list and deal with insurance. Meanwhile, all the struggles of appointments, treatments, medications and raising their family have put many financial struggles on Armando and his wife Janet. But with the amazing news of Armando finally receiving his kidney transplant this week, the time out of work for him, additional medical procedure costs, and medications will leave their family with many more financial burdens.
Arnold and myself are hoping with this page we can help relieve some of his sister’s finically stress for her family with raising donations. Please remember that every little bit helps this family. We are so happy that he is now on a path to recovery, but this will continue to be a long recovery from his transplant and during this time he will be unable to work and provide for his family. Please help us by sharing this story and donating what you can.
