Help Arlo the Ferret Get Emergency Care

Arlo is our youngest and smallest ferret, and he’s quickly become the heart of our little group of five. He’s the cuddliest and most affectionate of them all, always seeking to be held and to lick your face. His playful energy and loving nature has brought so much joy to our home, and it’s been heartbreaking to see him so unwell.

Just yesterday, Arlo’s health took a sudden turn for the worse. He became lethargic, stopped eating and drinking, and could barely move. We rushed him to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) in Oakdale, MN, even though it’s hours away from home, because we knew he needed urgent care. The veterinarians are working hard to keep him hydrated, warm, and comfortable while they run several tests. Arlo is being treated for an ulcer likely caused by a Helicobacter infection, and the costs of his emergency care are quickly adding up.

We’re doing everything we can to give Arlo the best chance at recovery, but the medical bills are overwhelming. Any support will go directly toward his treatments, medications, and ongoing care. Thank you for helping us give Arlo the chance to come home healthy and happy.
