Help Arlene fight against Stage 4 Breast Cancer

I am trying to raise money for my cousin Arlene.  She has been a very important person in my life and has ALWAYS been here for me.  She is one of my favorite people in this world and I wanted to help in any way possible.  It saddens me that she is going through all of this at the age of 52 as a single woman.  She  is NEVER alone with the ongoing support from her family and friends.    She has worked taking care of others as an Occupational Therapist for 28 years.  She was at her job for 19 years.  

She has has also been an animal lover and has volunteered at an animal shelter for 9 years  in her free time.   Along with not being able to work,  she is not supposed to be at the shelter because of risk of infection, so her purpose in life has definitely changed. 

She has stage 4 metastatic triple negative breast cancer and is BRCA1 positive.  She also has stage 1 thyroid cancer.   Her entire treatment plan will consist of 16 rounds of chemo, a bilateral mastectomy, total hysterectomy, removal of her thyroid, radiation and will need to be on thyroid medicine the rest of her life.

Metastatic cancer is not curable, it only goes into remission.  She is in the process of losing her job, which will mean she will have to pay for COBRA insurance.  She is on short term disability, but that is only half of her salary.  Not to mention the incredibly increased cost for the insurance.   

At at this point, any financial help would be appreciated to help get her through the treatments and any other necessities.  If unable to help, please share this with others who may be able to.
