Help Arlene & Anthony Rebuild After Fire

Arlene Worthington and her grandson Anthony are facing an unimaginable loss after a devastating fire destroyed their apartment. The fire, caused by a neighbor using a torch in his garage, left them with nothing. Arlene, who is retired from Longwood High School where she worked as a hall monitor, and Anthony, who teaches riding lessons and participates in horse shows, lost all of their belongings—including Anthony’s horse equipment and everything for their beloved dog. Right now, the Red Cross has placed them in a hotel, but without apartment insurance, they have no way to replace what was lost.

Arlene is not just my friend, but someone I look out for as part of our senior club community. We support each other, and it’s heartbreaking to see her and Anthony go through this. They are both kind, caring people who have touched many lives. Anthony’s passion for horses and teaching brings joy to so many, and Arlene’s warmth and friendship mean the world to those who know her.

They need help to replace clothing, furniture, and the essentials that make a home. Anthony also needs new equipment to continue his riding lessons and horse shows. Please help. Because of a neighbor’s careless actions, Arlene, her grandson Anthony, and their precious dog lost everything. Any amount can help them recover and rebuild. Thank you for your kindness and support.
