My name is Joy, and I have worked with Arlene for the past 15 years of my career as an ICU nurse. She was one of my first mentors in the ICU and played a significant role in shaping the knowledge and skills I have today. Over the years, our relationship has grown beyond that of colleagues—we have remained close friends and have been involved in each other’s personal lives as well.
Arlene and her husband moved to Jacksonville in their 20s, where she began her healthcare career as a PCT at SICU. Through hard work and dedication, she advanced to a monitor technician and is now a nurse in the SICU. She is also the proud mother of three wonderful children. who has grown in faith, love and kindness surrounding them.
Over the past year, her husband was diagnosed with cancer, and they have spent much of that time in and out of the hospital. Arlene has used all of her available PTO while supporting him through chemotherapy and now faces the need for additional time away from work during this incredibly challenging period.
Sadly, this past week, her husband’s condition took a turn for the worse. After 29 years of being together through Sickness and Health. Unfortunately she had to bid farewell to her Beloved who has left us.
We hope we can help Arlene spend this time not worrying about the financial situation but instead be with her family.
If you're unable to help financially. Prayers and thoughtful messages are deeply encouraged, or any help any other way.
Thank you for taking your time and consideration in assisting her in this unimaginably difficult time. This means so much for her and her Family.
God bless you.
