Hello all, the wife and I are glad you found this and us. We are currently looking to raise funds for our son Arkyn, who is due to be born on August 14th, which is Thursday. Unfortunately, we are currently expecting him to be a stillborn, and we only want the best for him, be it in the fanciest urn we chose out, or in what we hope, his bedside bassinet. However, with a diagnosis of Anencephaly, it is unfortunately more than a 90% chance of him passing upon birth. Along with us financially struggling due to the wife being out of work due to a work accommodation and her work giving us the HR runaround, we would like to ask for your help in being prepared the best we can on the off chance that he is a stillborn. We have found an urn for him that is $600, which matches with his copper butterfly that we will be getting for him through Empty Arms, which is another $300. (They offered to waive the fee for us; however, we would VERY much like to give to them instead as they've been tremendously awesome and kind to us, and gave us a bear with a recording of his heartbeat.)

Along with a $50 cremation permit fee, these are expenses that we are definitely not prepared for. Hopefully, if these are not expenses that we have to incur, we will be spending them towards other goods and items (formula, diapers, wipes, and more) to help ease the financial burden of raising our second son, since we haven't had a baby shower due to the expected outcome.
