Help Arkay Get Life-Changing Jaw Surgery

Arkay is in urgent need of our help to be able to eat solid food again and live with less pain.

When talking about this situation Arkay said, "I am so grateful to know that the only barrier to getting this medical issue fixed is the money and not that this part of my body is not able to be repaired." Showing that she is doing everything she can to not let this situation get her down.

This surgery will fully and permanently correct a longstanding jaw problem caused by a rare and painful nerve disease called Trigeminal Neuralgia, which she has already had several surgical procedures for throughout her life. Without this surgery, Arkay will continue to struggle with eating regular food, debilitating mouth pain, and ongoing bleeding. She will also require multiple additional procedures to prevent the situation from rapidly worsening, getting more infections, risking serious illness, and permanent injury to her ability to use her jaw.

The good news is this procedure will prevent any further permanent bone loss in her jaw. Unfortunately, there is no chance that insurance will cover this specific surgery, and all of the funding must be paid out of pocket.

Those who know Arkay understand that she advocates for and empowers those around her. Now it's our turn to advocate for her and to help her with what most of us would consider a basic human right: the ability to EAT FOOD and have access to medical care!
