I come to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful plea for help. My beloved cousin, Arjita Khanal, a bright, kind-hearted 13 year old girl, is fighting a battle no child should have to face. She has been diagnosed with kidney failure, and her only chance at survival is a kidney transplant, a procedure that will be performed by her brave mother Aarati Khanal, who is willing to give the gift of life.

Arjita is from the small, rural village of Belchaur in Syangja, Nepal, where life is simple but often difficult. Her parents are full-time farmers, and though they work tirelessly to provide for their family, they don’t have a stable income to cover the medical expenses needed to save their daughter’s life.

This fund is being raised to help cover the costs of Arjita’s kidney transplant and the necessary medical care that comes with it. The cost is overwhelming for a family already struggling to make ends meet. Your generous donations will help ensure that this brave young girl, who still has so much life ahead of her, can receive the treatment she urgently needs.
