Help Aripa Arte support Romanian Artists

Aripa Arte is a new nonprofit seeking to fund some very specific grant requests that range from artists seeking art supplies, to international installations of groups of artists. We want to fund them all, but we're just too new. This Go Fund Me campaign is our effort to raise additional money to support the requests that we have received.

I'm John Bishop, Executive Director of Aripa Arte. We work with Romanian visual artists to support their efforts to create sustainable art businesses, expose their art to a wider collector base, and to pursue their art as a career. We do this by offering educational opportunities, grants, collaborations, residencies, and cultural programming. This is our first year as a recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt charity, and we have opened our grant cycle to Romanian artists all over the world.

All of the funds raised from this campaign will go directly into the grant program of our nonprofit, and not into administration or even other programs we are undertaking. We have been so touched by the genuine needs of so many Romanian artists that we want to be able to fund more of the projects than our budget will allow.
