Help Arika Beat Breast Cancer!

On October 25, 2019 at age 27, my sister Arika Benjamin was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer, an invasive and fast growing form of breast cancer. Arika and her husband Marc have three young daughters, Vivienne (4), Scarlett (2), and Eleanor (newborn). An aggressive cancer requires aggressive treatment. Your donation will help to offset the medical costs associated with Arika’s treatment protocol, including costly co-pays, imaging, prescription medication, and post- surgery costs. Arika is undergoing a six month Chemotherapy regimen followed by a prophylactic double mastectomy. Radiation and oral chemotherapy will follow depending on if residual cancer is found at the time of surgery. Arika is on a long journey to being healthy again.
