Hi everyone,

This past year has been one of the hardest we’ve ever faced as a family. I’ve been out of work for almost a year now due to three separate hip surgeries. While I’ve been on disability, we lost half of our income, and to make things even harder, my job let me go. When I’m finally cleared to return to work, I’ll be starting from scratch, searching for something that can provide the stability my old job once did.

Just as we were starting to adjust to these challenges, we received even more difficult news. My fiancé, Brian, was recently diagnosed with bulging and degenerative discs in his lower spine, along with micro fractures. His doctors are telling us that surgery is necessary, and the recovery could take anywhere from three to six months—or even up to a year. This means even more time without steady income as we try to juggle medical bills, daily expenses, and caring for our family.

On top of everything, we are also trying to plan and pay for our wedding this November. What should be one of the happiest times of our lives has been overshadowed by financial and medical struggles, and we just can’t seem to get ahead no matter how hard we try.

We’re not ones to ask for help easily, but right now, we truly need it. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us keep our heads above water, cover medical and living expenses, and allow us to move forward with hope instead of constant stress.
