Help A Young Father, Arifur Rahman Fight Liver Cancer

Assalamu Alaikum (Peace be upon you).

I am making a humanitarian appeal for a young father of two children, Arifur Rahman Sabuj (34 years) who was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. I never thought that I would come to you like this. But in certain critical circumstances of our friends and families, we feel helpless due to the inability to support or help them on our own.

Arifur Rahman completed his BBA from IUBAT and MBA from Daffodil University. After his graduation, he used to support his own family and parents by working for a company in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has a 5-year old girl and a 1.5-year old boy. He was very humble, friendly, and kindhearted person. He always spoke with a smile. He had exactly same life like all of us as you can imagine. It is heart breaking for all of us to see him going through a lot physically and emotionally due to this chronic disease. After diagnosis of his liver cancer, it was not possible for him to continue the job since his health condition got worsen. This sudden news of his chronic disease brought the whole family into the darkness with complete sorrow. He may recover soon and come back to normal life as he used to be, if the proper treatment continues in timely manner (God willing).

Arif was under observations by the Doctors in Bangladesh and India from the beginning of his cancer diagnosis. After taking initial treatment with an immunization vaccine a few months back, his health condition got little better. He is currently hospitalized in Dhaka Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital. But the cancer treatment is so expensive that it becomes almost impossible for him and his family to afford the costs. Each injection costs around 450,000 to 500,000 BDT (4.5-5 Lakhs). His father has already spent 4,000,000 to 4,500,000 BDT (40 - 45 BDT Lakhs) from selling his land property. Another 6,000,000 BDT or more (more than 60 Lakhs) is needed for his treatment which is equivalent to more than $6 millions USD. To continue his proper treatment in timely manner, your supports are badly needed to avoid any life-threatening consequences due to the potential delay in the treatment process.
