Help Arif fight Cancer

Arif, a wonderful father, a loving brother and above all an awesome friend, whom I have known for over 2 decades, is second time unlucky and has again been diagnosed with cancer at the back of tongue and throat which is rather aggressive and more fearsome.. yet like in 2010 he is gearing up to fight this dreaded disease once again.

Arif has been through a series of tests and scans, will be undergoing surgery within the next couple of weeks at University of Michigan Medical Center under the able guidance of Dr. Keith Casper and his team.

Arif and his family need our support at this hour.. although he will be managing his treatment through his limited insurance and personal savings still he would need large amount of funds to cover expenses not covered under medical / dental insurance especially oral/dental restoration and reconstructive surgery. Besides he will be under extensive rehab post-surgery and will have to travel regularly between his home and UoM to receive follow-up surgeries / treatment and clinical trials.
