Our sweet friend Genevieve's horse Arielle badly mangled her leg and had to be rushed from the emergency vet in Charleston to an equine surgeon in Aiken, SC for emergency surgery. Arielle severed a tendon and was required to stay in the clinic for a week of recovery and medication. She will continue to need follow up care and the veterinary bills are already in the thousands.
