Hi everyone! My name is Alex, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my best friend and her family. Arielle and I have been best friends since we were born. She was always the wild one - couldn't sit still, doing backflips down her hallway, playing every sport she could, a true social butterfly. We have been through everything together. From scraped knees to watching her walk down the aisle to the birth of her daughter, Lennon, I have watched her life transform in the most beautiful and unfortunately, painful, ways.

Over the last 5+ years, I have watched my best friend suffer in ways that I will never be able to fully comprehend. If I were to share everything she's been through and is currently suffering with, you wouldn't believe me. No one should have to go through what she does on a daily basis. Arielle and her family have always been there for me, and while I can't fix this, I can certainly do something to try to help.

Insurance isn't covering what it needs to, and she's spending thousands of dollars a month just to try to seek SOME type of support to help with mobility issues, pain relief, etc. I'm creating this GoFundMe to try to help provide some type of relief to her and her family while she continues to fight this battle. She's going to need around the clock in-home help, various assistive devices to get around, a multitude of treatments and surgeries (some experimental), etc.

I will create a separate post to go into specific details on her illnesses but to summarize, since 2017 she has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, Long Covid, POTS, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Hashimoto's, Connective Tissue Disorder, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome - and believe it or not, the list goes on. These have debilitating and chronic symptoms on their own, but can you imagine what it's like to battle all of this all simultaneously?

I know this is a big ask, but every penny counts and will be going directly to her.
