Help Ariel Secure a New Service Dog

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ariel and I am a third semester veterinary student at Ross University. My whole life I have suffered from a life threatening anaphylactic allergy to dairy, as well as other mental and physical disabilities. Prior to vet school, I was utilizing a service dog, Roycen, to mitigate my symptoms and keep me safe from my allergens. She came to every college class with me and went everywhere with me, including vacations, restaurants, and even assisted me when I needed to be hospitalized. I was prepared to have Roycen with me in vet school, too, but a tragic incident led to her early retirement. Right before Roycen and I left for St. Kitts, we were attacked by two off leash dogs at a non-pet friendly beach in Florida. Since this incident, Roycen has shown reactivity and aggression towards other animals, which is unacceptable behavior for a service animal. While I have had to adjust without a service dog, the transition has been very difficult for me, and my hope is that with your help I will be able to afford a fully or partially trained dog from a program. Usually I prefer to train my own service dogs, but due to the time requirement that comes with a doctorate program I am not in a position to be able to do so. Thank you kindly for reading my story, have a wonderful day!
