Help Ariel Hear & Give Emma a Smile

Hi everyone, I'm Audrey and I’m reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Crystal, and her two beautiful daughters, Ariel (7) and Emma (10). Crystal has dedicated the past 18 years to serving her community as part of the York County Sheriff’s Office and has been a resource officer at a local elementary school in York for the last six years. She’s an incredible mom and public servant, but right now, she and her daughters need our support.

Recently, Crystal has been facing major medical challenges with both girls.

• Ariel’s Hearing Loss: Ariel was recently diagnosed with hearing loss in both ears and now requires hearing aids. Unfortunately, state health insurance will not cover any of the costs. Crystal is trying to secure secondary insurance, but there’s no guarantee it will provide coverage.

• Emma’s Genetic Disorder: Emma has a rare genetic condition that has left her without adult teeth. With only a few baby teeth remaining, she will need dentures to restore her smile. The family has an upcoming visit to MUSC at the beginning of the year to meet with a geneticist for further evaluation and care planning.

Crystal works tirelessly to support her daughters, but these unexpected medical needs have placed a significant financial strain on their family. Ariel deserves the chance to hear clearly, and Emma deserves to smile confidently.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover the cost of Ariel’s hearing aids and Emma’s dental care. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
