Asking for help doesn’t come easy to me. I’ve struggled with pride and embarrassment just thinking about posting this. But my love for my daughter and my will to live a full, healthy life outweigh my fear of being vulnerable.

My name is Ariel. After years of struggling with my health and weight, I’ve been approved for SADI-S weight loss surgery at Mexico Bariatric Center—a procedure that could literally save my life. The total cost is $6,740. While I’ve found this reputable, accredited medical center in Tijuana, Mexico, I can’t cover this expense alone.

This isn’t about image. This is about survival.

I’m a mom to a radiant little girl who lights up my world. I want to be here to walk beside her, cheer her on, dance with her, take her to school, and one day watch her grow into the woman she’s meant to be. But I know I won’t get that chance if I don’t take this step.
