Hi, I'm Barbara and this is my daughter Ariana. Ariana is a senior and soon will be graduating to attend one of 6 universities she's been accepted to in the fall. She is very shy and reserved however very independent and a creative young lady. She works hard in her studies and gets good grades. Her creative side has her as a make-up artist, hairstylist, dancer, singer, and she loves to work with children.

In the winter of 2024, she applied to participate in a 13-week program for teen girls to learn about African culture from the start of their civilization to slavery to present-day. At the culmination of the program, they will travel to Ghana with the program director and leaders for a 10-day immersion program.

In January, she was accepted into the program and has been participating for the past 5 weeks. The cost of the trip is where we would need support.

The estimated cost would be around $3500-4000 plus incidentals. We'd like to raise as much to offset the cost. She started working a new job to help save for the trip.
