I’m Ariana and I’m 15 years old. I moved to Georgia when I was 12 years old. When I moved here I, over the years increasingly started getting strep throat infections. It went from 4 times a year to every other month to every single month to every time I finished my antibiotics. Over this almost four years of recurrent strep infections I developed severe contamination OCD, encapsulating my life from being how it used to be; normal. My OCD has tied into my anger issues and self harm. TRIGGER WARNING SELF HARM TOPICS MORE DEEPLY DISCUSSED!!!! It went from just cutting to whatever I could find to sedate myself. My mom is my only care giver also caring for my two disabled brothers. My mom does not have a job. Our only source of income is my dad’s retirement money which comes in once a month, barely getting us by. My insurance is paying for my treatment but it’s not an inpatient treatment and it’s in New York (I live in Georgia) and we have no where to go. This money will go towards any extra medical costs, things I run out of quickly because of my ocd, the hotel, and food. This treatment will CHANGE MY LIFE. I’d never ask for this amount of money from anyone but I’m currently too young to work and my ocd prevents me from working as well. I am begging you to help me be able to get this treatment. Please.
