UPDATE DECEMBER 2025:

My situation has escalated to homelessness. It has been a long and difficult year. Thank you to everyone who has read my story. Every dollar has stretched far, and I am amazed at the generosity. Thank you, and I hope everyone has a safe and blessed holiday season. -Aria

I was able to get new hearing aids on a great deal for just $150!! They have been life changing; thank you all. 

The remaining donations have been helping to cover my medication costs, phone bill, and medical bills.

Help Aria rebuild post-emergency…

In 2025, I had a small window of opportunity to throw a few essentials into my car and escape an abusive man. I am disabled without resources, but I managed to do it, and got me and my support animal Billie to safety. The zip code in this posting is my parents’ zip code in order to protect my location from this man. I am working to rebuild a foundation of stability and safety so I can return to working once my medical needs are addressed. I had a robust career in healthcare research, as well as providing ABA therapy services to disabled children and teens. I look forward to being able to contribute to the community again and your support directly helps. 

Donations would go to:

✅ 1. New hearing aids. To be able to hear, is to be able to work and live. A new pair is $1800 with insurance :(

> Update: I was able to find an amazing deal, and purchased a new pair for just $150!!!! Thank you for the gift of hearing. It is actually life changing. My old pair had basically disintegrated from years of use. 

2. Expenses that are falling short, such as car insurance, monthly medication costs, and medical bills. 

✅ 3. Support for vet bills for my PTSD support animal (she is a registered animal for my medical needs).

> Update: Billie’s needs have been met, and she is up-to-date in everything she needs. She even got a microchip! This was a gift from family to assist me.
