Help Ari Recover from Car Theft on Christmas Eve

Hello, my name is Ari… many people know me in the Richmond, VA area. I would usually never do this but my day has been HEART BREAKING… My car was stolen late last night, maybe early this morning, on Christmas Eve 2024 from my own residence. A very clean and beautiful 2012 Hyundai Elantra license plate UTH-8740. I recently totaled my previous vehicle over the summertime and needed something quick and reliable. With that being said, I've only had the car for about 6 months. I paid about $6,000 for this vehicle.

This week has been really hard for me also because the car needed a new transmission, which was over $2,500, which I got fixed. So, I've only had the car back for about 4 days after the transmission work. On top of everything else, I've just recently moved to my apartment about 4 months ago… This is such an unfortunate situation for me. I had just done all my Christmas shopping literally last night. Didn't get home until about 10 pm. Nothing was visible inside of the car, but I had over $600 worth of Christmas gifts for family, especially my mother, nieces, and nephews, in the trunk. I planned on getting them out the next day due to being tired and getting home late.

A police report has been filed with Richmond Police, but unfortunately, that doesn't mean I will get the car back; it will just confirm what time my car was stolen. This setback is leaving me without transportation to work and vital daily activities, and my insurance won't pay me out enough to even cover getting a new car if it is never recovered. Any contribution towards getting a new vehicle would be a HUGE impact and alleviate the financial strain caused by this unexpected loss. Your support means the world to me!! Thank you!!
