Ares has been my shadow for twelve years. I brought him home when he was just a tiny, one-month-old ball of fur. Since then, through every high and low, this Siberian Husky has been the heart of our family. He’s seen me through a lifetime of changes, and now, he’s facing a challenge he can’t beat without some extra support.
Recently, we discovered a large mass on Ares' forehead, right in front of his ear. After a visit to the vet, the diagnosis is clear: it needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible. While Ares is still full of spirit and life, this mass is growing, and we want to ensure his senior years are comfortable and pain-free.
As many of you know, unexpected medical emergencies rarely come at a "good" time. This surgery is a significant and sudden expense that our family simply wasn't prepared for. We want to give Ares the best possible care, but we need a helping hand to get him into the operating room.
Every single donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward surgical removal of the mass, pre-operative testing and bloodwork, and post-operative care and medication. If you aren't able to donate, please consider sharing Ares’ story with your friends and family. Even a simple share helps us get closer to getting him the help he needs.
Ares has spent twelve years giving us nothing but loyalty and love. Now, it’s our turn to do everything we can for him. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
With love & gratitude,
The McDuffies
