our dear friend Aref, who currently lives in France, was a refugee from Yemen and has not been able to return home for over ten years. he wasn’t able to be there when his mother Jamila passed, nor when his brother Khaled married and his niblings Jamila and Alkhader were born.

now his father, Abdulrazzaq Mohammed Alhubaishi, is dealing with some very difficult medical issues and Aref wants to help as much as he can by meeting him in Egypt so he can, in his own words, “check his medical situation from A to Z cause he has many health problems” and help him get some much-needed medical care.
